3,700 year old wall found in Jerusalem

A city of long lost ancient treasures continues to surface more undiscovered wonders. Archaeologist digging in Jerusalem have found a wall that dates back 3,700 years ago. It is the oldest example of a fortification found in the city. The wall dates back to 17th Century B.C. at a time when Jerusalem was a small town populated by the Canaanites. Learn more here

Jerusalem - Another Day, Another Ancient Discovery

Jerusalem seems to be a treasure chest of discoveries. Every so often you'll read another article about how they found pottery dating back 2,000 years or the oldest written Hebrew text. Most recently during construction of an apartment block workers stumbled upon an ancient quarry.
